Hits and Mrs. - About

Hello, dear readers! My name is Michelle, the blog owner of www.hitsandmrsph.com. I’m a Gen-Xer, a wife to a talented graphic arts director, and a mom to two lovely girls.

I’m a writer by profession. After graduating at UST with a degree in Communication Arts , I began my career as a copywriter for a small advertising agency and eventually moved into web content writing.

I discovered blogging around 2005. I’ve built blogs on Blogger, Multiply, and — would you believe — Friendster. But I’ve stuck with WordPress for the longest time.

The earlier versions of my blog started out as an online journal. For a time, I maintained a wedding inspiration blog but shut it down and stopped altogether when life got in the way.

But I realized I wanted to write. Well, yeah, I do it professionally, but what I meant was that I wanted to put my thoughts out there and inject a little bit of my personality while at it. That’s why after getting married, I began Hits and Mrs.

What was supposed to be a personal online journal became something else when, for some reason, I received opportunities from different businesses and industries. So yes, while you may see some posts about products and stuff, I make sure that what I offer my readers — parents and those in my age bracket in particular — is something that would interest them as it interests me as a wife, a parent, and an individual. I try to keep to the core of my blog, which is “a Pinay Mommy’s log of happenings in, around, and outside the home.”

Here at Hits and Mrs., topics would range from food to events to lifestyle to opinion. I like to offer variety to my readers. Hopefully, you like what I dish out.

If you find my posts enjoyable, please don’t hesitate to follow via email to get the latest updates on my blog. You can also like my blog page on Facebook. I have personal accounts on Twitter and Instagram. If you want see what I’m like as a normal person, please follow these accounts.

And please don’t hesitate to leave a message on my blog. Rest assured that I’ll read them and respond.

Thank you so much for dropping by and hope to see you here again!
