Mommy diary: Zee goes to Eastwood Mall

Now that my daughter’s feeling a lot better (no more colds and phlegm, woohoo!), hubby and I decided to tag Zee along to Eastwood Mall for the Bakuc competition awarding ceremonies. Actually, it was her dad who wanted to bring her along. And since the weather was good, we dressed her up and packed her things and went to Libis.

We arrived a little after 1pm, and the judges were already on the site. We knew well that it takes hours from the judging time to the announcement of the winners, so we explored the surroundings, inside and out.

Tapos na ang fountain show. Tara na po, daddy...

Of course, like all Zee’s day-outs, this proved to be another adventure for me. We were slumped in one of the couches inside the mall, she lay on her chest on mine. While singing a few lines from her favorite ditty, Bad Romance (the rah-rah-ah-ah part), I felt her stomach contracting. After a few seconds, my nose detected that smell. In short, nabinyagan ni Zee ang restroom sa Eastwood Mall.

But unlike her earlier poo-poo situations, I got to calm her down a bit by giving her something to hold while I changed her dirty nappies. It was pretty less stressful — I think I’m getting the hang of this.

We were there until around 7pm. She fell asleep during the travel back home but woke up again when we tried to change her shirt. After eating dinner and drinking her milk, she fell asleep at past 9pm.

I’m glad we got the chance to take her out once again. Hopefully the weather will continue to cooperate for the next few weeks.

Next stop: Greenhills for their Christmas display. 🙂
