Mommy diary: Zee’s first haircut

Yes, believe it or not, it was the very first time my daughter had her hair cut. After 4 years.

I guess I’ve put it on hold because I found her hair super cute, with all those curls. When I was pregnant, I wished my daughter would have pretty curly hair, and well she did. Not the kinky curly kind, but the one that looks like it was formed with a curling iron. One that would make my friends ask, “Is that natural?”

I so love her hair that it was actually (silently) breaking my heart as the haircutter from Cuts 4 Tots in Megamall snipped away.

Had to let go, anyway. We were having a hard time drying her hair after bath. Plus the length went down to her bottoms that we had to tie her hair up when she sat on the toilet. 😛

Blow-dry time. It was like Kuya Hairdresser was yanking off her head that time. Poor mini-me.

I must admit, I was shocked to see Zee with straight hair, thanks to all the blow-drying done on her. But she looked pretty. And she liked her new hairdo. And I got to keep her baby hair and the lock with the most curls.

Her hair’s back to being wavy, not as curly as before but at least it’s not straight (like mine, hehe!). Back at home, she showed off her new hairstyle to everyone.

She loves her look. Guess the PHP330 was worth it.
