So it seems that every other post in this blog is about my trip to Starbucks. Coincidence, I’m just kinda lazy to update my blog.
But promise, this is worth sharing.
You see, Starbucks Philippines is coming up with new food and drink items come Tuesday, September 11. They’re all delish — especially the new drink — that I’m looking forward to next week.
Kicking off the new items is Starbucks’ Autumn Blend. Available for a limited time, it’s a full-bodied blend that has spicy and herbal notes. It’s not that strong but not too light like the Blonde Roast. And they’re perfect to pair with something sweet. We tasted it with a few bits of chocolate and their tastes pretty much complemented each other.
Next up is something that has caught my interest from the time they sent the event invites: the Salted Caramel Mocha beverage.
It comes in hot, iced, and frappuccino. That night, we got to taste both the hot and frap versions.
I personally like the hot one since, as I sip, I can taste all its flavors: the sweet and salty. The salt’s sprinkled on top of the drink, so if using a straw, you don’t really get to taste the saltiness immediately. Unless you mix the frap prior to drinking, I guess.
Last, but not least, they brought it the new food items. The new Breakfast Sandwiches will replace the ones in stores right now, by the way (farewell, Spinach Artichoke!).
Weird, I actually forgot to take a photo of the food display that night…
Anyways, samples of the new Breakfast Sandwiches are those that are in bun version (with the toothpicks) in the pic. Come September 11, welcome these into your tummies: Breakfast Tapa and Egg with Garlic Mayonnaise on Dark Whole Wheat Bread; Forest Ham, Egg White, and Gouda Cheese on Oat Bread; Ratatouille and Mozzarella Cheese on Multigrain Bread; and SPAM Black Pepper, Egg, and Cheddar Cheese on Cornmeal Bread.
The Featured Food Items, which will be available for a limited time, are the Spanish Frittata Wrap; Chocolate and Starbucks VIA Crumb Cake; the new-improved Ensaymada; Bacon and Parmesan Ring (not in photo); and Almond Pain au Chocolat (also not in photo).
Of course, with these new offerings are exciting promos that you surely wouldn’t want to miss:
And don’t forget the extended Starbucks Treat:
Yummy, yummy night. Thanks again to Starbucks Philippines. Looking forward to the next event (Christmas!). 😀
