Before anything else, I would like to greet you all a Happy New Year!

Hopefully, it will be a happy year for us. There’s the looming economic crisis, which they say will be hounding many countries around the world this 2009.

But let’s not start the year with something morbid.

The long Holidays was a well-deserved break. I got to see relatives and friends whom I haven’t seen for a long time.

I got to spend a lot of firsts over the Holidays, too: my first Christmas with the in-laws and my first New Year in our apartment. And yes, the first Holidays I spent away from my family.

But it was all cool. It was fun and laid-back at the same time.

Despite the brouhaha over my salary, Christmas went fine.

I guess I just like the feeling it brings.

With the New Year comes resolutions.

Somehow, I felt like not doing one.

So this year, I have no New Year’s Resolutions… except for taking care of myself more so that the baby comes out healthy and normal. My OB says we’re a little underweight — we need to eat more protein-rich food.

And yeah, I think I’m feeling him/her tumbling in my tummy. It’s a great feeling.

    Happy New Year, Michelle! 🙂

You just got married in 2008, right? Can I ask you some questions? I’m planning to pop the question to my girlfriend and…

Anyway, I’ll get back to you with my questions when I’ve collected my thoughts.

Oh, and congratulations! I bet it’s a great feeling having a growing baby inside you.
