Dell PH launches new Inspiron 2-in-1 Lineup
First thoughts: What’s a mom blogger like me doing in a tech event like this? I’m not even a techie, LOL! Seriously, I’m in the midst of tech bloggers and tech writers from established media, and I’m just, you know, an ordinary blogger…
But because it’s an invite from Dell (and the PR group handling it) and it’s a launch of its latest line that targets students and young professionals, I decided to check it out.

Last week, Dell Philippines launched their new Inspiron 2-in-1 Lineup that offers powerful and stylish computing at affordable prices. Geared towards students and on-the-go professionals, Dell’s latest products combine fast performance for work and play with sleek and sexy looks.
The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 2-in-1 is designed for the student’s and family use. It features an Intel Pentium Processor N3710 that provides speedy performance whether for creating documents, editing videos, surfing the net, or doing web chats.

It has a 1366×768 high-resolution display for clear viewing, 500 GB 5400 rpm hard drive, USB 3.0 port and micro SD media card reader for connectivity and additional storage, and 8-hour battery life. And that’s all packaged in a vibrant and colorful body. Truly suited for the younger generation who wants to be hip and connected all the time.
Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 boasts a more polished design and a wide-angle FHD resolution display. It comes with the 6th Generation Intel Core Processor, up to 16GB of dual channel DDR4 memory for better multitasking, 1 TB 5400 rpm hard drive, and an infrared camera that is compatible with the Windows Hello facial recognition. All these features are packed in a light body — at least 1.62 kg — for easy handling.

The great thing about the 2-in-1 Lineup is not only the powerful features inside its body, but also their versatility — they’re so convertible that you can use it either as a conventional laptop or like a tablet. Pretty cool, if I may say so.
During the event, the mettle of the Inspiron 2-in-1 was tested with a visual display from multimedia artist Archie Geotina.

He said that he liked the 2-in-1’s flexibility and performance. Using Resolume Arena and Adobe After Effects to create his projection mapping display, Archie said that he did not experience any lags and that heavy .mov files ran smoothly with the Inspiron.
With the launch of the Inspiron 2-in-1 lineup also came the announcement for the Dell Premium Support Service. Powered by its award-winning SupportAssist Technology, Dell can now assist customers with ease, and on a nationwide scale. Customers can access this service through its hotline at +632-663-2000 (Metro Manila) or 1-800-1601-0061 (for other locations).
There’s also the #DreamWithDell promotion, wherein Dell asks you to share your dreams. You stand a chance to win a Dell Dream Starter Kit: a new Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 with Windows 10. Check out more details at www.dwdphil.com. Contest ends August 19, 2016.

Whew! A lot of things were covered that day. Anyway, if you’re searching for a new laptop or upgrading your machine, check out Dell Inspiron 2-in-1. They’re going to be available in the market starting this month. 🙂
