Just this morning, while I was walking to work with my 9-months heavy belly, some car (a Ford, I think) passed by and splashed rainwater on my pants. It was a good thing, though, that it didn’t completely douse my clothes — just a drop here and there. Still, the driver didn’t even care to slow down or step on the brakes when he passed by that puddle.
I really hate drivers like that. Poor commuters like me had to deal with walking in the rain, with our legs and feet getting soaked, while they’re inside in the comforts of their cars, driving past rain puddles with glee without caring if others get drenched by their indifference. They don’t even give way to people without umbrellas crossing the street. Besides, they’re not the ones getting wet, right?
Note to you: Life isn’t one Crazy Taxi. You don’t get points by hitting people or, in this case, splashing them with rainwater.
