When I read the final book of the Harry Potter series years ago, it wasn’t completely “goodbye.” But after watching part 2 of The Deathly Hallows in the big screen last night, I felt some kind of closure.
Not that I don’t long to see Harry, Ron, Hermione, and everyone else. But in a sense, the movie closed a long chapter of my life and put it inside a chest, sealed with a heart-shaped lock.
Which I’ll probably open again sometime soon, when I’m in need of nostalgia.
But for now, it’s so long, thanks, and see you soon. It’s been a great journey, thanks to you three.
