MILO launches its Summer Sports Clinics for 2014
In this digital age, it’s almost rare to see kids enjoying physical activities, especially sports. And as parents, we have the responsibility of instilling the love, or at least the interest, in sports to our children. Not only to keep them healthy and active, but to also teach them the value of determination, honesty, and discipline, thereby molding them to become better persons in the future.
And to help you with that, MILO is opening its Summer Sports Clinics for 2014. As part of its platform for holistic youth development, MILO will offer fun and comprehensive courses in over 700 venues to 30,000 students nationwide.
From April to May 2014, MILO Summer Sports Clinics will set the stage for children to make the most of their summer vacation by learning sports. The program offers immersive training from expert coaches for 13 sporting disciplines: Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Karatedo, Ice skating, Tennis, Taekwando, Table tennis, Chess, Football, and Swimming.
MILO Summer Sports Clinics has been the most widely participated sports clinic in the country. The reason, according to MILO Sports Executive Andrew Neri, is because the program uses scientific methods to guide the children in honing their abilities and eventually becoming budding champions in sports. Proof of these are its alumni that include UAAP basketball players and brothers Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena, taekwondoin Japoy Lizardo, and PBA star and former Smart Gilas member Chris Tiu.
In celebration of its 50th year in the Philippines, MILO calls on parents to get their children into sports now and build champions not only on the court, but in life in general. Check out the official website of MILO Philippines for more details on schedules and registration for the Summer Sports Clinics, or visit the MILO Facebook Page.
