Starbucks Philippines is coming up with not just one but a whole lot of treats starting July 16, 2013. Tomorrow (Tuesday), they’ll be introducing two new Frappuccino blended beverages that will surely take you to a different kind of coffee journey: the Dark Mocha White Chocolate Pudding and Green Tea White Chocolate Pudding Frappuccino Blended Beverages.
Imagine the indulgent Dark Mocha Frap (coffee, dark chocolate, whipped cream, and chocolate chip toppings) or the creamy Green Tea Frap made more delicious with the delicate texture and sweet flavor of the white chocolate pudding at the bottom. Now isn’t that yummy?
I was fortunate to be among the select bloggers who were invited to get a glimpse of these new concoctions early last week. And must I say, the sample cup wasn’t enough. I loved the Green Tea White Chocolate Pudding Frappuccino — it’s less sweeter than the Dark Mocha White Pudding, just right for my taste — that I took home a tall cup!
Besides the cool coffee journey we experienced that night, we were also treated to a gustatory adventure, with new (and one returning) Lunch Sandwiches and other featured Food Items.
For the Lunch Sandwiches: Spinach Artichoke and Mushroom on Herbed Multigrain Bread, Bacon and Cheese on Herbed Ciabatta Bread (both pictured above), Tuna and Cheese on Dark Ciabatta Bread, Salami and Cheese on Marbled Rye Bread, The Clubhouse (only available in Metro Manila), and Roasted Chicken Pesto and Shiitake Mushroom on Flat Bread (a returning favorite).
For the Featured Food Items: Outrageous Cheesecake (super yummy!), Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich (somewhat like s’mores), Beef and Mushroom Pie, and Greek Chicken Wrap.
Indeed, a lot of sweet and savory food will be coming in stores. Best pair them with the new beverages — both will be available until September 9 — and experience one yummy and tummy-filling Starbucks adventure.
